What we don't collect

No user accounts, registration, or login exist on this site.
No personal profiles are created or stored by us directly.
The Method Finder runs entirely in your browser — your answers are never transmitted to our servers.
We do not sell your personal data.

What we do collect

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to understand aggregate traffic and how visitors use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data (such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device/browser information) on our behalf. This data is handled under Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Anonymous interaction events. We may record anonymous, aggregated events (e.g. “Method Finder completed”) to improve the site. These are not tied to your identity by us.
Email you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive what you send — used solely to read and, where possible, respond to your message.
Local storage. Your theme preference and recent searches are stored in your own browser and never leave it.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination site may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. We only record an anonymous count of outbound clicks.

Hosting and logs

The site is hosted on Vercel, which may process standard server logs (IP address, user agent) for security and operations under its own privacy terms.

Cookies & consent

Google Analytics and Google AdSense may set cookies on your device. Visitors in the EU/EEA, the UK, and Switzerland are asked for consent before any analytics or advertising cookies are used (via Google Consent Mode); until you accept, these run in a restricted, cookieless mode. Blocking cookies does not affect your ability to read the site's content.

Your rights

We hold very little personal data ourselves. For usage data processed by Google on our behalf, you can use Google's own controls linked above. For anything related to an email you sent us, reply to the same thread and we will delete it.
